beginning again

I made a few attempts to start over.

None of them worked.  

And so I return to posting inanity about my life.  I can't help it, I've realised.  I've deleted the previous posts, which, being astute as I hope you are, you've noticed.  It's embarrassing to read them.  I'll probably go through and cull the posts once some accumulate, but that's unlikely to be soon.  I know I can't keep a blog that doesn't contain large amounts of my not-very-dramatic drama.  So I'm not going to fight that. I made a different decision instead: I'm back and now with....[this is the part where you do a drumroll, I think]

a photo-blog! :D

Well, I found this exciting.  Provided I can successfully embed photos.  Which I should probably try. 

Here's one:

I have a  Minolta X-570 film camera, and it's sort of my baby.  That is, besides Buffy.  Buffy is a clarinet.  But the point being that  despite a lack of real photographic training, I've taught myself the basics--all that I really need to know anyway, seeing as I'm completely amateur.  I love taking photos of things.  I love playing with the photos using whatever tools are available (Corel Photopaint, Picnik, or random edit apps).  So I decided I  could share some of them here.  Because that way, if you like the words, read the words; if  you like the pictures, look at them, and if you like both, I'm somewhat surprised.  But cool! 

All photos I upload are my photos, unless otherwise designated.
